Keyboard to Kindle’s collaborative and affordable approach supports writers to get their books out into the world; whether they want to keep their work close to their chest, share only with family and friends, or look for commercial success.
Amazon has made self-publishing easier and often free, meaning more and more of us are doing it. Yet, despite plenty of book festivals, active book related social media accounts and authors being amongst the friendliest people in the world, writing can be one of the loneliest hobbies.
Many of us are looking for a community where we can share the highs and lows of our writing journeys with like-minded, word-loving, people. Even better, finding support to finish, publish and promote our books.
What is Keyboard to Kindle?
Keyboard to Kindle is a collaborative, connected and affordable, 12 month, online writing programme. The aim is to take you from tapping into your keyboard to publishing on Amazon. This is NOT a creative writing course, but you will be pointed towards free/low cost training from other providers.
How does Keyboard to Kindle work?
Members join a small community of between five and fifteen people, on an enjoyable 12 month writing journey, sharing challenges, ideas and book launch marketing.
The basic 12 month online package includes:
- Weekly, online, one hour, group writing sessions
- Monthly, online, one hour, group goals meetings
- Monthly newsletter – highlighting free/low cost learning opportunities
- Four hour, online, group writing retreat
- Exclusive Keyboard to Kindle WhatsApp group
- Online, shared, book launch
How much does Keyboard to Kindle cost?
As a thank you for your trust in Keyboard to Kindle, I’m offering a special early adopter price of £10 per month, for full membership, with breaks in August and December. I hope you’ll love it but if you’re unhappy, for any reason, your most recent payment will be refunded, minus fees paid by K2K. Non members can access the monthly workshops, for just £10, through the Eventbrite app.
When is Keyboard to Kindle?
Keyboard to Kindle weekly writing sessions and monthly workshops are always on Tuesday mornings, 08:00-09:00.
The inaugural Keyboard to Kindle programme started on Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026. Our autumn ‘term’ runs from Tuesday, September 1st, to Tuesday, 24th November, 2026. You can join at any time.
Who joins Keyboard to Kindle?
Keyboard to Kindle is for all writers. It aims to directly support people who want to self-publish on Amazon. However, those who seek – or have already found – traditional or other routes to publishing, can also take advantage of the community support. It’s pricing and collaborative nature is intended to make the programme accessible to all.
