Keyboard to Kindle’s collaborative and affordable approach supports writers to get their books out into the world; whether they want to keep their work close to their chest, share only with family and friends, or look for commercial success.
Amazon has made self-publishing easier and often free, meaning more and more of us are doing it. Yet, despite plenty of book festivals, active book related social media accounts and authors being amongst the friendliest people in the world, writing can be one of the loneliest hobbies.
Many of us are looking for a community where we can share the highs and lows of our writing journeys with like-minded, word-loving, people. Even better, finding support to finish, publish and promote our books.
What is Keyboard to Kindle?
Keyboard to Kindle is a collaborative, connected and affordable, 12 month, online writing programme. The aim is to take you from tapping into your keyboard to publishing on Amazon, in just one year. This is NOT a creative writing course, however you will be pointed towards free/low cost training from other providers.
How will Keyboard to Kindle work?
Keyboard to Kindle is available as a basic 12 month online package, paid monthly, with opportunities for free collaboration and to purchase editing, marketing and in person add-ons.
You will join a small community of between five and fifteen people, on an enjoyable writing journey, sharing challenges, ideas and book launch marketing.
The basic 12 month online package will include:
- Weekly, online, one hour, group writing sessions
- Monthly, online, one hour, group goals meetings
- Monthly newsletter – highlighting free/low cost courses and competitions
- Full Day, online, group home writing retreat
- Exclusive Keyboard to Kindle cohort WhatsApp group
- Online, group book launch
How much will Keyboard to Kindle cost?
As a thank you for your trust in Keyboard to Kindle, I’m offering a special early adopter price of £10 per month, with breaks in August and December. That’s £100 in total for the full, one year, basic online package. I hope you’ll love it but if you are unhappy, you can cancel at any time and your last payment will be refunded on request.
When is Keyboard to Kindle starting?
There will be a free introductory online session at 7pm, on Tuesday, January 20th. The first Keyboard to Kindle programme is expected to begin in March 2026.
Who will join Keyboard to Kindle?
Keyboard to Kindle is for all writers. It aims to directly support people who want to self-publish on Amazon. However, those who seek – or have already found – traditional or other routes to publishing, can also take advantage of the community support. It’s pricing and collaborative nature is intended to make the programme accessible to all.
