How to write a book in a year…

… and get it published on Amazon.

I’ve self-published a second chance romance, The Joy of Jars, I’m  in the middle of the big edit for my next book Miss Wed, and I’m writing the messy manuscript for a – semi-secret for now – new project. Plus, I’m planning and delivering my marketing for all three!

Spurred on by positive feedback at the recent Bournemouth Romance Writing Festival, I’ve seen first-hand how much better it is to do this with others.

Have you got a book you’d love to write but you haven’t got the time, the know-how or the confidence?

Would you love to see your words in print, even if only close friends and/or family ever read them?

How about joining  me and a group of like-minded people, all aiming to get their story ‘on the shelf’ in 2026?

I’m gathering together the first cohort of my new writing programme, Keyboard to Kindle, which at a special early-adopter price of just £10 a month is connected, collaborative AND affordable.

To join the FREE introductory online session, at 7pm on 20th January, please email info@joannebarkerauthorevents.com, with Keyboard To Kindle as the subject title.

Keyboard to Kindle is a writing community with a purpose, not a creative writing course. However, during the year-long programme we will be sharing information on free/low cost *courses designed to help you improve your writing skills.

Right now, I’m suggesting:

https://www.curtisbrowncreative.co.uk/course/30-day-writing-bootcamp  £40

https://www.curtisbrowncreative.co.uk/taster-lesson FREE

*I receive no benefit of any kind by recommending these courses.
